While the legislature is bringing in record revenues, they are still not prioritizing
education and are even trying to reduce funding for key programs like our Transition to Kindergarten program that is so crucial.
Their current proposal is to slash this program by 25%.
Olympia politicians are spending heavily while ignoring the basic needs of our families and youth.
As a Blaine School Board member, Erika Creydt supported a resolution to urge the legislature to reverse course and fund education as our top priority.
