Dear Neighbors,

I was raised here in Blaine, Whatcom County. This Bordertown, these neighborhoods, schools, and these people shaped who I am. 

This isn’t just where I’m from...it’s who I fight for.

My work in mental health has shown me the quiet struggles too many families carry. I’ve sat with children who are hurting long before anyone notices, and with parents trying to navigate systems that weren’t built to support them. When a child’s mental health is ignored, their education suffers, and so does their future.

I’m running for Senate because my people of Whatcom County deserve a voice that understands these struggles personally. Our marginalized children deserve more than promises; they deserve real support, early intervention, and schools that nurture both learning and wellbeing.

This campaign is about listening, showing up, and making sure no child feels invisible. I’m running to represent my hometown with heart, honesty, and action. Because when we take care of our children, we take care of our future.
