Dr. Erika Creydt interview (2024)

Updated: Jan 15

Throwback to an interview a couple years ago when Dr. Creydt opened the Everson Youth Resource Center. Listen to the interview here.

About the Youth Resource Center

The Youth Resource Center (YRS) provides at-risk children, ages 5-17 and who reside in Whatcom County.

We offer after-school activities such as arts, crafts, and sports, in addition to individual or group counseling. Further, on certain days, with the help of our Activity Companions, we provide special events aimed at positive, peer building experiences amongst at-risk children.

We lead community mobilization for Whatcom County youth by organizing volunteers, charitable donations, and grant acquisitions.

We bridge local, state, and federal resources and services to qualified children and their families affected by disadvantaged situations, domestic abuse, mental/emotional distress, homelessness, and or substance dependency.
